The World Wildlife Fund (WWF) held the "Earth Hour" environmental event on Saturday, March 23, 2024, from 8:30 PM to 9:30 PM. The event aimed to encourage people to switch off unnecessary lights and appliances and support sustainable lifestyles. At 8:30 PM on March 23, the buildings lining Victoria Harbour gradually dimmed their lights, with nearly 4,000 companies, organizations, and buildings across Hong Kong joining the event by switching off non-essential lights and appliances for one hour.
