When there is any employee sustained work injury or occupational disease arising out of and in the course of employment, you should report the incident to Labour Department by submitting an appropriate Form within the time limit as stated below.

A copy of the completed Form duly signed with company chop together with the following supporting documents should send to us immediately.
1. Original sick leave certificate(s) (issued by registered medical practitioner, registered Chinese medicine practitioner)
2. Discharge slip for hospitalization
3. Original medical receipt(s)
4. Copy of internal accident / investigation report, if any
5. Photographs taken at scene and the injury condition
In case of death or serious injury occurred, please inform us by call immediately.
Employer should pay the injured employee periodical payment at the rate of 4 / 5 of the difference between the employees’ *monthly earnings at time of the accident and his/her monthly earnings during the period of temporary incapacity.
* monthly earnings means the earnings immediately before the accident or the average of past 12 months earnings immediately before accident whichever is higher.
And also pay the relevant daily medical expenses to the injured employee provided that the treatment is given by a registered medical practitioner and a registered Chinese medical practitioner. The maximum limit of expenses per day as below:
i) | As an in-patient in hospital | HK$300 |
ii) | Out-patient | HK$300 |
iii) | Both as an in-patient in hospital and out-patient | HK$370 |
Forward any communications, writ and summons from labour department, injured employees' representative and government authorities to us immediately unanswered.
In accordance with the circumstance of the incident, we may ask for further information and document when necessary.
