Building Owners' Corporation Third Party Liability Insurance

By the amended section 28 of the Building Management Ordinance (Cap.344), all owners' corporations must procure and keep in force in relation to the common parts of the building and the property of the corporations a Third Party Risks Insurance Policy. The limit of Indemnity in minimum shall in no case be less than HK$10 million per event. With the insurance policy in place, it does help alleviate the financial burden of owners’ corporations and owners in cases of accidents happened in their responsible common parts of the building, which causes injury or death of the third party.
